About CPD

Your guide to CPD

Whether you're a new member or needing to refresh your knowledge, this section introduces continuing professional development (CPD) and what you need to do.

What is CPD?

It's the learning and development that you’ll do throughout your membership. Your CPD is a vital part of your ICAEC membership that helps you to unlock the potential of your life-long career journey and shape the future of the profession.

CPD will provide you with the skills that you need to perform your day-to-day job, as well as enhance your employability for the future.

Professional ethics lies at the heart of CPDs, and our approach fully complies with the CPD standards required by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).

Who completes CPD?

All ICAEC members should complete CPD on an annual basis. There are additional CPD requirements for members who work in practice to ensure your skills and knowledge are up to date.
